Mary Ann began her child care profession in 1973 as a young mother, entrepreneur in her home in Lincoln, RI. She established a home day care that has today grown into seventeen early learning centers and five school-age-after school programs, as well as a summer camp program. Mary Ann was a late bloomer, returning to college nine years after graduating from Lincoln High School in 1970. Mary Ann attended college nights and weekends. After completing sixteen years of college (1979-1995), she attained her Doctorate degree in Youth Studies and Leadership. Her love and commitment continues to drive her to work to ensure that children and families have quality child care and education available to them.
