Let us introduce ourselves: We’re the Sassy Ladies and we’re here to help you make your dream of owning your own business come true. Now, we know there are hoards of resources you can go to, and maybe already have, that promise the same thing. So we thank you for trusting us to guide you on this new adventure of yours. Because that’s what it is: an exciting quest! Ah, but we’re getting ahead of ourselves (we get like that when we’re excited).

This is a good time to tell you just who the Sassy Ladies are:

Sassy Wendy

Wendy Hanson is a business coach and consultant. She co-founded Corley Hanson Associates in 1998, a coaching and leadership organization working with corporations around the country, including Google. Wendy has extensive experience coaching women in business.

She owned a retail store, Wendy’s Country Things and Herb Garden in Groton, Massachusetts, for three years. In her formal role as a special education administrator, she developed many businesses that provide training opportunities for people with disabilities. One of those businesses, Petalworks, produced potpourri from donated funeral flowers. The potpourri became part of a line of products for a national stationery and gift basket company. In 2004, Wendy was awarded the Women in Business Champion of the Year Award from the Small Business Administration in Rhode Island. Wendy has a master’s degree in organization and management from Antioch New England and is a certified professional co-active coach from the Coaches Training Institute.
